PLT & OH Standards Alignment Opportunity

PLT Friends,
Monday, June 16, 2014 brings a great opportunity for you and Project Learning Tree (PLT) to connect program activities to the latest Science Standards & Model Curricula for Ohio! Consider joining us at the Ohio Resource Center in Columbus (near OSU campus) for a leadership opportunity from 10-3 workshop that will provide the experience you need to correlate not only Project Learning Tree activities but your other lessons as well. What a great way to see even more of what PLT has to offer the youth you impact, and give back to the PLT program. Formal and non-formal educators welcome to participate!
You will be asked post-workshop on your own time to interact and respond on-line with others regarding PLT activities, for at most @ 1 ½ hr. each week over a six week period (until August 1st). You will be recognized for your professional contact hours for this effort, and have the opportunity to earn 1 semester hour of graduate credit if you want to do so. All attending and completing the on-line component will receive a $50 professional stipend as a Thank You.

Please pass this info on to other educators who might be interested. Consider coming to this Correlation Alignment Workshop! Though it may be easier for those who have participated in a PLT workshop previously, it is not a requirement. You may want to team up with another educator in your area for this. All materials will be provided if you do not have already.
