Dear PLT Facilitators & PLT Friends,

Check out & SHARE with others this timely information!

Care to get more in-depth with PLT and earn graduate credit by doing so for a very reduced rate of $150 for 3 highly qualified graduate credit hours?

If interested at all, please let me know ASAP. In order to have this workshop confirmed, I must have a minimum number of interested participants in the coming week or two. Final commitment is nearer the start date.  There is an August 23 start date (in person in Columbus, or from your own computer elsewhere), from 10-2 with follow-up on-line asynchronous assignments & interaction (@ 3 hr. per wk.) on your own time schedule, going through early December.

THIS IS OPEN TO NEW & FORMERLY-TRAINED PLT EDUCATORS & FACILITATORS.

Get the newest that PLT has to offer and enlighten others regarding environmental issues from a forest’s window on the world?

Help equip other educators to effectively use PLT to inspire and inform their students by becoming a facilitator—a teacher of teachers.

You MAY have used PLT effectively & now you can impact more minds with quality environmental education by also training peers/others in how to use PLT.

With this PLT workshop course through Miami University’s iDiscovery program you interact and share the many benefits you and your students have learned. You must be able to have a youth/college-level/fellow adult audience to plan for and present some PLT lessons to, and then reflect & interact with your workshop peers about it. Much will focus on the PLT links to education standards and STEM education with a science emphasis.

Becoming a PLT Facilitator helps one gain a broader perspective on the entire PLT program while enriching your professional skills and leadership abilities.

See the attached flyer. Questions? Let us know!!! I am happy to connect you to talk with those who have already taken a similar PLT class and are now active PLT facilitators.
