I got some IR flashlights including this one
It work well and I can see IR via mobile camera and Raspberry camera
But I was wondering why is there also visible light emitted, although very weak. Is it part of IR spectrum?

If you can see light from the lamp, it is not infrared. The LEDs they use must emit some visible light.

my question was whether the led they use to emit infra also emit some visible as default, or whether they add visible so there will be indication that it is working, for example in camera flash lights
