We cordially invite you to join the Gulf Coast Restoration Conference on September 10 for a day of conversation, workshops, and training with a diverse group of partners across sectors uniting under a common banner and working for social and climate justice.
When: Saturday, September 10, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Where: Island View Casino Resort, 3300 West Beach Boulevard (Highway 90), Gulfport Mississippi

The hard truth is that those who contribute the least to climate change will be impacted the most, exacerbating social injustices that many are already working hard to combat. Addressing climate change presents the opportunity to support these efforts head on, while fostering community-led solutions and economic development in historically disadvantaged communities.
This family-friendly event will consist of workshops that address the local impacts of climate change and how to use storytelling in advocacy work, breakout sessions covering topics such as the Bible and the Earth, engaging policy makers, and disaster preparedness. We will also have a variety of separate activities for children focused on the environment.
In addition, we are excited to be able to provide Spanish and Vietnamese translation throughout the event.
