Hi Maria,
I hadn't heard of this! Looks like registration is closed. Is anyone else on this group headed to this event?

Hey there, is this event on your radar? Seems like Public Lab folks should be there!

GOMRI /GOMA happens every year and rotates among major cities in the Gulf Coast--Biloxi, Tampa, etc.
This year in New Orleans and it's great for the latest on oil spill research. I think I remember a few Public Labbers at the Biloxi one a couple years back

I'm also wanting to repost about a storytelling event that is open to the public. It's happening this Monday night at Champion's Square next to the conference.

It is free should be really good and a great way to engage with the Gulfcoast wide research community in a fun social way: Check it out! Would love to see ya'll there.

You don't have to be registered in advance. They have on-site same day registration, probably subject to capacity. I'll be there after 1pm on Monday, then going to the Story Collider event Mon night. Not sure yet about the other days. My Google # is 504-533-4337. --Maria
