Morning!
Sounds like there's a fun event tonight exploring "street spirit" including conversations about water and infrastructure at Kermit's Mother-in-Law Lounge. Check it out below!

Best,
Stevie

Dear friends + colleagues,

Please join me tonight at Antenna Gallery's::Signals Issue No.6: Street Spirit, where I'll be speaking about water + infrastructure + our streets (whose streets? our streets!). Come watch me attempt to cover 300 years of New Orleans' water history in 10 minutes!

It's going to be an amazing line-up of artists + activists, all exploring "street spirit," including Sunni Patterson, A Scribe Called Quess?, Abdul Aziz, Miriam Belblidia, Mykia JovanSabrina Mays-Montana and Ausettua AmorAmenkumNOVAC and Jillian Hall's short film, I Only Draw Pictures, a portrait of Jo Hines, the Baton Rouge artist who painted the memorial mural of Alton Sterling; Dread Scott on his project to reenact the largest slave revolt in US history; and Polo Silk.

It will take place TONIGHT at Kermit's Mother-in-Law Lounge from 6:00 - 8:30pm. Co-hosted with Patois Film Festival$10 entry.

Love,
mb
