April 20, 2015 marks 5 years since the beginning of the BP Oil Drilling Disaster. Today, frontline community leadership of #GulfSouthRising will be sending a message to the nation and the world that the seas are rising and so are we. Join us!

WHAT: Commemoration march and gathering for a rally 

TIME: 4:20pm for the march, 5:45pm for community speak out in front of Jackson Square (amphitheater near Cafe du Monde)

PLACE: March begins at Lafayette Square, at St. Charles & Lafayette, New Orleans 

WEAR: black

BRING: a sign / an instrument (noisemaker) & most importantly, bring people!
