[Play-2.0.8] Running with JDK 8

Hey everyone,

It is possible to run an old play 2.0.8 with JDK 8?

Currently while loading the project I'm getting:

[error] error while loading CharSequence, class file 'C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_131\jre\lib\rt.jar(java/lang/CharSequence.class)' is broken
[error] (bad constant pool tag 15 at byte 1501)
[error] one error found
