Unable to see Zurb Foundation sass variables effect.

Hello

I am using sass plugin in my project with Zurb Foundation. 

I created a .scss file in the assets folder and its showing Foundation variables as implicitly imported. The sass file is compiling absolutely fine and is converted to css file as expected.

But I am unable to see the effect of changing the values of Foundaiton variable in my .scss file.

Can some one help out quickly?

With full-stack framework like play everything is part of the group. 

Can some one help here.

Why changing the Foundation implicitly imported variables values in my own sass file does not have effect on the compiled assets.
