Spring data jpa and play framework integration

Hi guys!
I am curious to know more about play framework and jpa support. In default activator setup I have received one play project inbuilt. But that is not fully compatible in current scenario. Then in another project I have used jpa repository as jar into play framework mvc. I don't know if it is right way to do that. What I am ooking for is a confirmation that if I can use build of jpa project using maven inside a play mvc architecture?
