play command doesn't start console

Hello

i'm totally new to play framework and i installed on linux mint, i already created a new project and everything worked but when i go to the project folder and use the play command i get blocked with the message

[info] Loading project definition from /home/salinas/playprojects/jhillcoffee/project

it already took 20 minutes and nothing more happened.

can someone help me solve this issue

Go into project/plugins.sbt and set the logLevel to 

logLevel := Level.Debug

That should tell you more about what's going on.

i commented the logLevel and i get all the info

it freezes on 

Resolving com.typesafe.sbt#sbt-native-packager;0.6.4 ...

and nothing else happens

any help is welcome
