[1.2.4] PODAM framework : ClassNotFoundException

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to use PODAM framework (https://github.com/mtedone/podam)
in my Play! 1.2.4 application, which seems a nice framework to
generate dummy data for load tests.
When running a new simple test in my Play! application, I encounter a
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException on a model class. Of course, appart
from PODAM usage, this model class exists and works fine in test or
dev mode.
PODAM uses annotations on model entities.
I'm not familiar with Play! bytecode generation and class loader
management, but might it be the root of this issue?
I've even tried to run test after a "play precompile", but it doesn't
work.
I've set up a simple Play! project to reproduce the problem :
https://github.com/Fluor/podamplaytest with only two model classes and
one unit test.
The same test with same classes works fine in a regular Maven
project : https://github.com/Fluor/podamtest
If someone would like to shed some light on this problem, I would be
happy!
