The Play team is glad to announce the release of Play 2.5.5, the next installment in the Play 2.5.x series. This release includes a number of minor improvements and bug fixes.

As Mariot pointed out, this does change the default logging behavior: we no longer log to a file by default (reasoning explained in https://github.com/playframework/playframework/pull/6395). I should have mentioned this in the initial email.
