The angularjs-based prototype system is coming together:
- the pine-client, pine-server and & pine-distro repo's are all up.
- the current SD Card image can be downloaded via bittorrent (see
<
https://github.com/psema4/pine-distro>)
- the SD Card image adds special capabilities to pine-client: sound,
halt, reboot and update
- pine-server is available at <
http://pinegames.org/>
- pine-client gets news and game information (via the Explore app)
from
pinegames.org
- pine-client is also running at <
http://pinegames.org:5000/> (no
sound, probably Chromium-only)
- pine-client should support up to 4 gamepads simultaneously (have
tested with 2)
It's not at all pretty (and there are no games yet!) but now it's
mostly a matter of filling things out and some refactoring.
Known issues:
- the splash angularjs service is based on some old code; it doesn't
always center the splash image correctly
- no ability to download games from (or upload to)
pinegames.org just yet
- everything is barebones - just barely enough to work
- graphic media (3 or 4 images) is filler material used for early
testing; these will be replaced soon
