On the phoenix2600.org site meeting times show as starting at 6PM. On the Heatsync labs site (which appears to be the only one which will add the meeting to a calendar) meeting times show as starting at 7PM. Which time is right, and is there any reason these show differently?

Thanks in advance for the explanation...

Brad

6PM has always been our official start time.

Thank you for the time clarification….one more question: while putting this on the calendar, I realized the next meeting date (Aug 7) is right in the middle of DEF CON. I just wanted to confirm that there will indeed be a meeting…are folks still going to be in town to meet? I’m scheduled to be at DEF CON, but I may have to cancel for various reasons, and if so, I’d like to come to the 2600 meeting instead.

Let me know….thanks.

meetings still typically happen during defcon, they are just obviously lighter. also, the 7pm thing may be because of heatsyncs general weekday public hours (7pm-10pm). to start at 6pm, there is usually a phx2600 guy with heatsync badge access (Altf4, etc.., although Alt will be at defcon). the badge holding member essentially opens heatsync to the public early. it has worked out without issues from what i saw. who else is a badge holding member there these days?

I usually make an effort to have the lab open by 6 on these nights, though I've missed the last couple meetings due to schedule conflicts.
