I have a rails app that I want to deploy on Passenger + Apache. However, it does not work.

According to this webpage, Passenger + Apache is not yet supported.

  https://www.phusionpassenger.com/library/config/apache/action_cable_integration/

Can someone tell me when action cable will be supported on Passenger + Apache?

Thank you!

The reason this integration mode is not recommended is because Apache has issues with websockets (on which actioncable depends).

As the page mentions, if you want to use Apache + Passenger you can use a reverse proxy setup that doesn't have the issue: https://www.phusionpassenger.com/library/deploy/standalone/reverse_proxy.html
