Hey,

I would like to now open up the access to the main repository to more members of the PHPFIG team.

I'm proposing to give Coordinators and Editors of PSR-6 and PSR-7 read/write access to the fig-standards repository to apply the necessary merges to their respective standards documents.

Does anyone have any objections about this ?

Many thanks,
Paul

Can we do this with psr-9 as well? maybe giving editor and coordinator access should be added to the official psr workflow.

No objections, but I'm also not a voting member. If this is the route
taken, verbiage should be added to the by-laws indicating that the
editors and coordinators of proposals will be given read/write access
for as long as they act in that capacity.

Agreed, and that will also trigger a formal vote which would be
preferable to a "no objections" approach which may end on a date
uncertain with an unknown quorum.

Recognising that the group as a whole may not automatically control
the repo (even with a vote), I'm more interested in those with current
admin access stating they have no objections to this so there's no
hiccups in transferring that piece of infrastructure to some sort of
short bylaw (i.e. how to get access, subject to a short vote or
automatically when a PSR number is assigned, and the allowing for the
reverse of removing access, again by vote or when a PSR has been
adopted and coordinator/editor no longer need it).

We don't need every single editor/coordinator, on every single PSR access - it's really just opening the gates a little bit for now to get more support. I'm just going in order of PSR numbers.

On that note, do you want access? you don't have to accept it, but i'm all for it if you do.

What about translations? I know Russian so I can manage translation pull requests, corrections, editorial etc. but I need write access in order to do it.

I'm not part of the "PHPFIG team", but am volunteering to help out with the repos if given a thumbs up.

Many thanks,
Paul

Hey,

I have added Beau and Larry to the list of maintainers. I have sent an invite to Paddy.
