I feel I need to do this to avoid disappointing a very affectionate
Twitter account...

PSR-8, like any other in-progress PSR, needs to form a Working Group to
remain an active PSR. I am happy to continue as Editor. That means we
need one other Core Committee member to sponsor it and at least 3 other
individuals to join the Working Group.

If interested, please speak up now so we can keep the hugs alive! If a
WG isn't assembled by the end of the month PSR-8 will be considered
abandoned, and that's just sad. :-(

I can't sponsor, but I'll gladly join the WG.

I was skeptical at first, but you have won me over.  Let's make huggables happen.

I'm unable to sponsor but am on board with joining the WG.

Ideally I'd like to see PSR-8 move out of proposal on April 1st

The PSR-8 Working Group henceforth sets to work.

I'll happily offer to join the working group as one of the "other
individuals"

Thank you Graham for offering to Sponsor. As for the rest of the
volunteers, I've been advised that the WG should consist of people with
"specialist knowledge in the field, or it should be relevant to their
project/work". I am unclear how to apply that standard in this case.

Being British, I have a great deal of experience with more formal
handshaking protocols; but wholeheartedly embrace PSR-8. And it seems
appropriate, with just a week to go until National Hugging Day on
January 21st, to broaden the scope of the PSR with a more international
flavour.

Embracing the PHP-Community is one of the things I try with the
different projects I'm maintaining. Whether thats the list of
PHP-Usergroups to enable everyone interested in finding like-minded
people or or an accumulated list of CfPs to allow speakers to easily
find their target audience to spread their passion for development.

And besides that, with an abandoned PSR-8 my shirt[1] wouldn't be as
much fun as it is now :)

I'm sure that only qualifies for the second half of "specialist
knowledge in the field, or it should be relevant to their project/work".
For the first half we'd need to ask for community members to testify ;)

Cheers

Andreas
