Phonegap installed app not working anymore after Android Nexus 5 Chrome update

Everything used to work just AOK. I don't know how long it's been going on but I only noticed today, my personal apps made with cordova/phonegap won't work properly anymore and I believe this is after an update of Chrome on my Nexus 5.

The issue is that my views (simple html file) do not load properly anymore using jQuery's .load(); and displays artifacts, on crashes, or even loads both views in the same container/div.

Does anyone have the same issue? Please please please

Could reproduce with Android 5.0.2 and 5.

Used cordova 4.3.0
