Java tutorial for Phonegap

Hi,
Is there a step by step tutorial for Java developers for developing Android, IOS apps using Phonegap. All the articles that I have found so far just talk about HTML, CSS, and Javascript. How do we consume external Webservices, Databases, etc?
Can someone please help!

Please return to the home page for this Group and read the pages for people new to PhoneGap. PG is only for HTML/CSS/JS.

to answer your question concisely, if you are using JAVA for phonegap, it is because you are writing a plugin.
If you would like a Java Developer's point of view, there are many. But as Steve said you are better starting from
scratch. On your question about "external Webservices", all plugins have a Javascript API. To consume a Webservices, you will use the Javascript API.
Also, MANY, MANY Java developer are confused when trying to implement Javascript. If Java is you native language, you will be confused. I recommend using cut and paste code as much as possible, until you learn Javascript.

If you want to create multiplatform apps using java, try codename one https://www.codenameone.com/
If you want to use phonegap, you have to use html, css and javascript, java is just for android and blackberry plugins

Well you can still use your Java skills and target phonehap
Look at GWT and the GWT APIs for phonegap. There are atlest 2 out there.
