Hello,

Sorry for this rant, but I wasted a lot of time following the instructions. I picked Android. I finally got through with the create.bat method, then I imported the code. Then what? There is no information on the site, what to do next. I know nothing about Android, that is why I want to use PhoneGap.

I'll give a shot this tutorial:

But you got it, this is what should be on the getting started page.

This is the very same tutorial I followed after wasting a lot of time with the official ones. It's worth trying, after a couple of weeks I'm already developing a solution entirely in phonegap for Android.

At least there are tutorials. I'd rather see the PG team work on PG instead of tutorials.

Funny side story: Our company took a project after another company failed. Besides others, it contains 80 standalone applications of which none is documented. Documenting it is in the backlog, but estimated at around 3 man years ... so it'll probably never be ordered.

I know I'm really late to this thread, but I have a more hand-holdy tutorial up at https://github.com/drappenheimer/phonegap-by-dissection which you might (or might not!) find useful.

Thanks.
