Configure node server from cordova app.

I am working on an ionic app and need url rewrite to be done at node.js so it always returns index.html. How can I do this?

I want to be clear.
You want to go from
http://myhost.com/index.html
to
http://myhost.com/

If so, there several options. They are listed under "http redirection" or "http location".
Wikipedia has an explanation.
