Send database data via the usb port of an android device

Hello all. I want to send the data my android program saves out the serial port/USB port on command. Typically, the receiving device will be a pc, probably just into a file. There is much online documentation that dances around this issue but none spells it out. I'm using html, javascript and phonegap. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

fyi - although I have yet to get it to work, I did find a plugin called cordovarduino that handles usb comm between an android and most usb compatible devices. . Read about it here: http://phonegap-plugins.com/plugins/stereolux/cordovarduino
