Hi,
Just tried to use Cordova Camera plugin on iOS platform (http://docs.phonegap.com/en/edge/cordova_camera_camera.md.html#cameraOptions).
Here's my problem, when I use getPicture method, camera opens but screen is black (with camera tools overlayed on screen).
I push the "take" red button, it takes the picture well and it works fine afterwards.
Sometimes, if I wait a long time (like 1 minute or more), the camera ends up by loading finally !
Do you guys think it's an iOS issue or phonegap plugin issue or myself coding issue ?
Any idea how to solve that ?

Thank you for your help in advance !

What version of iOS? What device? Also, what version of Cordova & the camera plugin?

Sorry, just couldn't resist.

Me too getting exactly the same problem. Cordova 4.2.0 and camera plugin 0.3.5
It works correctly in Android but not in IOS.

Have you tried using an older version of the camera plugin? Also, what version iOS does it fail in? 7? 8? both?

Hi David,

I've removed camera version 0.3.5 and downloaded the older version 0.3.3 and it works perfectly.
Cleanup and replace camera version 0.3.3 into yourproject/plugins/org.apache.cordova.camera/

Strange enough, as of April 15th, this is still persisting.
However the current master version is not even compiling.

What the heck are you doing Apache??

If perhaps you've forgotten, or not Joking, it's good to remember
that this an open source project. Complaints are handled with
lashing of wet noodles (as opposed to metal spikes) ;)

But seriously, if this frustrates you, as it does me, you might
consider lending a hand.
