I'm having an issue where cookies aren't being detected when a new popup opens, in specific it's happening with Amazon Payments. Once the "Pay With Amazon" button is clicked and a new popup opens asking to enter the Amazon credentials, Amazon claims cookies aren't enabled.

So my worry is that cookies might not well with popups - is there a known issue with popups and cookies?

Did you run it with --cookies-file option?

Yes I did. Could it be something due to being a 3rd party site setting cookies?

Not necessarily If the problem is that Amazon can't use Cookie jar. Did you try debug cookies content on each step? I would go in direction of directly passing cookies to new instance of page.
