Hi guys,

Not sure if this question is already addressed in the forum. But would like to know if it is possible to use use specflow to on top of Pester to write BDD tests?
I am new to both pester and spec-flow so please pardon me if my question is nonsensical.

Thanks,
Shanmuga

Well, you wouldn't be using the SpecFlow product specifically, but there is Gherkin language support coming to Pester soon.  (Jaykul has already written a working POC for that.  We're planning to clean up some internal duplication in there at some point, but may just release it as-is in the near future as well.)

Thanks for the quick response Dave. And Jaukul will have VS integration I assume. Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks,
Shanmuga

Not that I know of.  Aside from the ability to generate NUnit XML output, Pester doesn't have any direct VS integration.  (I think maybe Adam Driscoll's PowerShell Tools does give some Pester integration as well, but I haven't used it personally.)
