percona packages have corrupted dependencies

Hi,


One of the packages that have been published in percona repository get dependencies wrong

Hi Vadym,

we have a known issue with our centos7 repository - it's not a problem in the packages but in the repo itself (it holds too many similar products and should be separated per product).

The issue is reported here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/percona-xtradb-cluster/+bug/1490144

Feel free to add a comment there and we also have several internal tickets open so we are working on the solution.

It is all good but what Vadym needs to do to install our software NOW ? 

You're dead in the water. Go use something else is not really the good answer we want to give.

Hi Vadym and Peter,

yes, actually there is a workaround but it depends what you wanted to do.

If you don't wish to install Percona Server or Percona XtraDB Cluster you can install "Percona-Server-shared-56" or "Percona-XtraDB-Cluster-shared-56" package and the conflict will be resolved and "yum update" should work after that.

And if you wish to install PS or PXC in the first place the conflict will be resolved once you install one of those.
