-L options for sucure password in nagios plugin not working

Hi,

When I run this

mysql_config_editor set --login-path=bs12 --host=localhost --user=nagios --password

It creates a file in /home/nagios/

But running:
/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_mysql -L b12 gives this

Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

Hi, it seems like you forgot "s" in bs12 on the second command

Hello Sir,

It is working now if I run the command manually on the client server but when I am running it from nagios server I am getting the following error

./check_nrpe -H any host -c check_threads_connected,

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user root@localhost (using password: NO)
