confirm backup consistency

Hi,

I have a backup file which was copied to aws s3 to create an Auror instance. After 3 days of migrating it still hadn't completed. Aws support has suggested the backup was not created using xtrabackup. I don't believe there was a log file when the backup was created.

Is there any way to confirm the backup was created using xtrabackup?

In the backup directory do you any of files like?

backup-my.cnf

xtrabackup_checkpoints

xtrabackup_info
xtrabackup_logfile

If you have - then most likely the backup was taken with xtrabackup

Great thanks for your help. I can confirm the following files exist:

xtrabackup_binary

xtrabackup_binlog_info

xtrabackup_binlog_pos_innodb

xtrabackup_checkpoints

xtrabackup_logfile
