PDI - How do I change the path of .pentaho and .swt directories?

Hi, when i run spoon.sh its create .pentaho and .swt directories in my home folder.

Is there any way(parameter or enviroment variable) to change the path?

Note: Does anyone have the documentation link that explains how useful these directories are?
