D3 - 3D charts in Pentaho 7.0 CE

Hi ,

Is there any workaround to render D3 3D charts in Pentaho Community Dashboard Editor .Right now i am using Pentaho 7.0 CE ? Can anyone help me with this. or if this is not possible through D3 then is there any way to embed any external JavaScript which support 3D charts.

Thanks Pedro for your quick response..I have already gone through this topic..I m able to render D3 2D chart like pie,bar and pcp chart etc..but facing problem to rendering 3D chart..getting totally blank screen..just want to check do pentaho support 3D chart rendering..?

Check your code. There's nothing fundamentally different between 2D and 3D charts, so if one works, the other does to..

My guess is your d3 code has errors in it. Use the browser console to debug.

But, FWIW, 3D adds absolutely nothing but confusion to a chart. There's nothing a 3d chart can do that a 2D chart doesn't do better. I can't imagine a single situation where adding the third dimension improves the visualisation.
