Hi, 
My name is Émilien and I'm UX/UI Designer for a Canadian company in free software. We currently use pencil for our internal projects. We would like to contribute to Pencil and make our software by default. 

That's why I contact you. Can you tell me where is the development? Will you release a new version soon? If you want to contribute, how should we proceed?

The code is available via SVN.  Recent changes can be found in the 2.0 branch (not trunk).

The project has not been very active recently. It would be nice to have a roadmap and feedback about development status.

Hi Jay, 

We are in the process of how we will proceed to start the project. Colleagues (developers) will test some software to get to know and it will allow us to define our game plan. Currently, we have needs that pencil does not meet 100%. If some want to help us, you are welcome. We will contact you.
