The engagement is announced between Harry, son of Mr James Townshend, of Melbury Sampford, Dorset, and the late Mrs Olivia Townshend, of Little Rissington, Gloucestershire, and Alice, daughter of Mr and Mrs Jeremy Campbell-Lamerton, of Rendlesham, Suffolk.

Mrs Olivia Townshend died in 2009.

Olivia, on 12th March, peacefully at home aged 51. After a battle bravely fought with enormous fortitude, grace and humour. Beloved mother to Georgina and Harry and much loved daughter of Jenny and the late Peter. Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration of her life at St Edwards Church, Stow on the Wold at 11.30 a.m. on 27th March. No flowers.
