The first Portland Ruby Brigade meetup of February 2017 is on Tuesday at New Relic, in their luxurious new digs on the 29th floor of Big Pink!  In addition to the facilities, they also provide pizza, beer, and snacks.  Thanks, New Relic!

This month, we have Josh Tompkins giving a talk about dependency injection in Ruby.  [IMO, this topic is (a) more important (b) more approachable, and (c) less boring than you might think.  I'd totally go if I wasn't on parental duty.]

AND, don't forget to bring your laptop so you can take part in Lauren's code retreat exercise after Josh's talk, as I'm sure she's got another interesting challenge up her sleeve for everyone.  [No pressure, Lauren.]

Presentations usually start at 7pm, but if you want pizza, I recommend showing up closer to 6pm.  Many are the times I have walked in at 6:45 only to go hungry... you have been warned.  :)  Plus, you can even "talk" with "other people"!  [Feel free to imagine Dr. Evil air quotes there.]
