A quick follow-up to last night’s meetup:

Thank you to speaker Megan Bigelow and panelists Brent Miller, Lauren Voswinkel, Davy Stevenson, and Robert Peterson!  Also, thanks to Jason Dinsmore for recording.  And as always thanks to New Relic for hosting and providing beer + pizza.

We briefly mentioned PDX Women in Technology: I strongly recommend checking them out.  PDXWIT has a very active community (4905 members) and there are 5 upcoming events this month; plus a mentorship program!

We will return to longer presentations next month on Tuesday May 1st.  Chris Krailo will be sharing some practical career advice, and Jared White will help us get up to speed on Stimulus JS (a new framework from Basecamp to help Rails apps sprinkle, sparkle, shine and perhaps even shimmer :) ).
