Is there a Slack channel yet for PDX Ruby?
If not, is anyone interested in starting one up?

Not that I'm aware of, but there is already an IRC channel (#pdxruby @ irc.freenode.net).

Slack is significantly better than IRC.

I like Slack, but I’m curious what the advantages would be for this group over IRC (besides custom emoji). Slack’s well-suited to companies or private groups, but the invite process seems like a non-starter for drop-ins.
