Hi,

Mobile web-viewer is not working properly in IPAD/Iphone Standalone APP, pages are getting messed up. What I am doing is when I open web-viewer in Safari web browser and click on the Add to Home Screen for the home page. Then I go to home screen, click on the icon and open any of the web-viewer content, initially mobile web-viewer load properly but when I change portrait to landscape and vice versa page messed up.

Would you please have a look and let me know the suggestions.

Thank You

Hi,

What version of WebViewer are you using and are you using "mobileRedirect: false"? In version 3.0 we added a workaround to MobileReaderControl that fixes issues with changing orientations when the viewer is displayed inside an iframe. I tried adding a page with WebViewer inside an iframe and the apple-mobile-web-app-capable meta tag on the html page and opening from the home screen and changing orientations worked without any issues.

This is the workaround that we ended up adding to MobileReaderControl.js and you can use it as well if you have WebViewer before version 3.0 https://groups.google.com/d/msg/pdfnet-webviewer/jhUB_7GAwv8/gj-zhAi2BQAJ.

Hi,

I am using web-viewer version 3.0.1 and 2.2.2, and mobile redirect = true (As this is default configuration). With both of the version when viewer file from Home screen icon that's open in stand alone window, there pages messed up.
I attached screen shot of the error console from safari.

Please have a look and let me know suggestions.

Thank You

The warnings are likely unrelated as it just means you were trying to call an unsupported function on the mobile viewer. This may be from your own code on your HTML page and it also looks like your config script didn't load.

Would you be able to send a screenshot of what you see when the pages are messed up? Did you try adding the workaround in the post that I sent?
