I have a problem where some of our PDF's are shown as blurry in the Webviewer.

I'm trying to figure out where the problem is, but the only error i get is the following in the browser(s) (tried both IE11 and Chrome 58):

Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token
    at
new Function (<anonymous>)
    at f
(CoreControls.js:398)
    at h
.callback (CoreControls.js:398)
    at
Worker.<anonymous> (CoreControls.js:392)

I have tried opening the PDF's in other third party applications, such as Adobe Reader and Chrome and the PDF's are showing perfectly in those.

We are using an older version of the Webviewer HTML5 (v1.8.2.30296) and it should be noted that it is only a small amount of our PDF's that can not be opened properly in the Webviewer.

Thanks for the help!

It is possible that your document is converted with latest PDFNet/Docpub, which includes some non-backwards compatible changes to the XOD format. You could send us one of the XOD files that fails to load, and we can confirm if this is the case. You could try converting with the option --silverlight_flash_compatible which will convert the text of the XOD file in the older format.

Alternatively, you could try updating to the latest WebViewer version available here: https://www.pdftron.com/webviewer/download.html. Note that newer WebViewer versions can always open all previous XOD files.

Yes we recently updated to converting with the latest version.

Unfortunately we can not send you the failing XOD files as it is production data, but we will try to introduce the option as you suggested.
