Cannot run sample application in Android Studio

When trying to run the command Run command: gradlew.bat setupSamples via terminal I get the following message : -bash: gradew.bat: command not found
I am on OS X any ideas? I thought .bat was only for Windows?

The latest version of our Android SDK no longer requires the setupSamples script to be run. Please contact sales or support to get the latest download link.
