Hello ParisJS !

Vous connaissez certainement Mastodon ?
Je viens de créer un profil ParisJS sur l'instance de la Quadrature du Net : 
Vous pensez quoi de l'idée de créer une instance dédié à la communauté des devs et ou du JS ?
Il y a du potentiel non ? Le principal problème sera sans doute de trouver un hébergeur... 

Suivez déjà le compte qui vient d'être créer pour montrer si cela vous intéresse ou non :)

Hello,

On aurait peut-être pu en parler avant mais c'est pas forcément une mauvaise idée pour réserver le nom.

Pour la créations de l'instance, hum si c'est pour que ca finisse comme les dizaines de slacks dev/startuper/js/growthack ...
Ne pas oublier, que gérer une instance, va couter cher + demander beaucoup d'admin sys (voir https://www.taneleo.fr/reseau-mastodon-a-lire-avant-d-ouvrir-votre-instance ).

Pour ma part, je n'aurai jamais le temps et j'ai pas suffisamment de compétence dans le domaine. Puis je suis pas certain que la mayonnaise prenne assez.
Perso je préfère continuer à m'investir dans le meetup. J'aimerai beaucoup que l'on puisse refaire le site.

Tu peux toujours coder un truc qui toot les tweets du compte twitter ;)

Oui l'idée c'était de réserver le nom, ensuite on discute :)

Mastodon n'est vraiment pas comme les autres, c'est vraiment

1/ Décentralisé
2/ Open Source
3/ Social
4/ Gavé de JS :)

Regardez donc https://github.com/tootsuite/mastodon/blob/master/storybook/config.js par exemple... 

Ensuite je pense qu'en tant que CM sur le compte Twitter nous pourrions plutôt Tooter et forwarder ensuite sur Twitter... En premier lieu, parce que les toots peuvent faire 500 chars et que Twitter et bien souvent trop limité... https://korben.info/synchroniser-mastodon-twitter.html
