Sometimes when I paint an angophora I get home and think I got the colour so wrong - to bright too orange/red



But then I look at a photo or a tree and realise I was right - what do you think? remember the photo here was on an overcaste day. and the colour correction on the painting image is a bit wrong.

Old Man Banksia's At Refuge Cove - some of the largest and oldest Banksia's I have seen. Accessable only by one of the most wonderful days backpacking.

Monochrome Photographs of Mountain Ash - the tallest and biggest hardwood trees in the world - infact the tallest is 100 meters from some of these but is nearly impossible to photograph given the tight forest and its massive girth.


Sorry I gat the location on the titles wrong it is Camberville Near Marysville - not Cumberland. Does anyone know how I gan change this on the title of an individual image?

Two famous trees near the legendary forest of Broceliande (Brittany)

Le hetre de Ponthus (Ponthus beech): Maybe 300 years old... "he" is very hard to find inside the forest. This is a very mystic place for druids and other people..



Le chene a Guillotin (Guillotin's oak): maybe 1000 years old, it is hollow. During the French revolution Guillotin was a priest who hide inside to avoid republican soldiers.

Open the image, and click on the title. It can be edited as needs be as many times as necessary.
