The Calgary Tower (bottom right) was once the tallest building in Calgary. Also breifly, the tallest building in Canada. Now dwarfed by new construction.

Not a "classical" skyscraper, but however 160 meters tall. This is the Vehicle Assembly Building, or VAB, located at NASA's Kennedy space center, Florida. It is the third building in the world by volume, scoring 3.66 million of cubic meters; it was used by NASA to assembly the giant Saturn V rocket, an now is used to integrate the Space Shuttle.

There aren't many big-city lights in Pyongyang but the city has amazingly lots of skyscrapers. And pray to the Great Leader Kim Jong-il for a mere five minutes of an uninterrupted flow of electricity when entering the escalator.

China
Several skyline shots of Shanghai:
That last one was taken from the Jinmao tower, which is the tallest building in China (until the Bank of China headquarters is completed, that is, which is right next door). Here's a shot of the Jinmao tower:
Canada
Toronto has the world's tallest freestanding structure : the CN tower.
For scale : see it towering above the city in this shot:
And this is the view from the SkyPod at 400+ meters up:
Vancouver also has its fair share of tall buildings
United States
Boston: John Hancock tower
Las Vegas : Stratosphere tower and the view from the top

The Petronas towers and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel:
Here they look both quit tall but the Petronas Towers on the left are 88 floors, whereas the Mandarin Oriental Hotel is "just" 26 floors.
The pic was taken in front of the Mandarin, which might explain this.

Quote Mick Flynn:
I can't remember what they call this building, but it's across from Battery Park on the Jersey shore.
Mick,
I live across the river from that building , I affectionately call it the Stump, because it doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities other than its stumpiness.
