Hi,

I'm using Ubuntu Precise 12.04 with TI OMAP PPA and OV5640 5MPix camera.
I'm able to capture images with following command:
gst-launch -e omx_camera device=0 num-buffers=1 ! video/x-raw-rgb,width=2592,height=1944,framerate=1/1 ! ffmpegcolorspace ! jpegenc ! filesink location=cam1.jpg
But I'm not satisfied with the quality.

According to http://omappedia.org/wiki/Ducati_For_Dummies#SIMCOP SIMCOP is designed for "High Quality Image Capture".
How can I capture images with SIMCOP?
or
Where do I find documentation about it?

Documentation about TI OMAP PPA at https://launchpad.net/~tiomap-dev is also very poor! Is there somewhere a better documentation available?

best regards,
Gregor Bader
