Hello All,

Several members in the PandaBoard community have been requesting OpenCL drivers for Imagination Tech SGX544 core within the OMAP44xx SoC on PandaBoard.

At this time, OpenCL drivers for OMAP44xx require SLA to be in place with Imagination Technologies & TI. If you are a OMAP customer please discuss with your TI Sales/Field or business contact to determine how you can get access to the OpenCL software.

We will continue to explore options & work with  Imagination Technologies to make OpenCL drivers broadly available to the PandaBoard community.

Best Regards, -Jay

Hi,

Sorry to be asking this again. Is the OpenCL driver for pandaboard available now ?

It seems there was a demonstration involving OpenCL applications on the pandaboard gpu. The demo is in the link given below.

If the OpenCL drivers are for University research purpose whom should we contact ?

Don't expect anything from TI on the panda...

Read:

If my memory serves, sgx does provide opencl drivers for their IP, however TI never licensed that tech when they purchased the drivers for the omap4 from Imagination.
