Hello everyone!

Over the holiday I released PANDA version 1.1.1. This release adds several translations, documents the manual import process some of you are relying on and fixes several small bugs. The complete changelog is here:

Upgrade documentation is here:

Translations

The most exciting new feature in this release is the support for German, Italian and Spanish PANDAs. I'd like to thank all of our translators for their generous contributions. A complete list of them can be found in the Authors section of the documentation (http://panda.readthedocs.org/en/1.1.1/#authors).

Anyone spinning up a new PANDA will be prompted to select a language. For those of you running a PANDA in English who may wish to switch to another language, that process is documented here:

That page also contains documentation on how you can contribute to the translation effort. Please note some translations may not be 100% complete. If you come across parts of PANDA that are still in English please sign up and contribute translated versions!

EC2 Regions

In addition to supporting PANDA in multiple languages we now also have documentation for creating a PANDA in any EC2 region. So those of you who want to run a German PANDA can create yours in the EU region for added performance! (http://panda.readthedocs.org/en/1.1.1/amazon.html)

Manual imports

For those of you relying on the manual import script to import large files into PANDA, we now have official documentation for this process:

Although we still want to fix this process in the UI at some point, this update should make the alternative more streamlined and accessible.

Please let us know how the upgrade works for you!

Best,
Chris
