Special Lecture by Murtaza Solangi, Director General, Radio Pakistan

Special Lecture on TUESDAY, MARCH 22, 6-7pm, 206 Ingraham Hall

The Centre for South Asia has scheduled a special lecture by Mr. Murtaza Solangi, the Director-General of the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC). PBC is the parent company of Pakistan's largest and most popular radio channel, the Radio Pakistan. Radio Pakistan was the first radio channel in Pakistan. Since then the channel has introduced many people, some of whom became the greatest legends of all times. On top of the list are Madam Noor Jahan, the Melody Queen, and Ustaad Mehdi Hasan Khan Sahib, the Shahanshah-e-Ghazal. A short bio of Mr. Murtaza Solangi is attached.
