I have Gzip enabled on my website and it's reporting as correctly enabled via this service:

But when I check via Google Page Speed Insights, it's reporting that gzip is not enabled:

Is there a reason for this?

How can I let Google know or detect that Gzip is enabled please?

Thanks,

Matt

Likely the page is compressed, but not everything else, like css, js, txt, xml, etc.

GZip compression is detected independently from other optimizations, and unlike other test sites, Pagespeed does seem to have a problem detecting it correctly.

Matt, you seem to have been able to fix it. How?
