Hi all,

I'm getting weird results on PageSpeen Insights.

As you can see PageSpeed Tools is asking me to compress these files... however... I already have... all of them are minified and (Using Joomla) I have turned on GZIP Compression.

I'm also using Joomla Page and Browser Caching plugins and PageSpeed is telling me to leverage browser caching.

Can anyone offer advice? Many thanks,

Ray

Are you hosting those files or linking to them on other sites?

We're hosting them.

I assume you're running Apache. Possibly you missed a step. http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/mod/mod_deflate.html

Considering your score you might want to consider mod_pagespeed to fix your image problem as well.

Try this as a reality check: http://checkgzipcompression.com

Seems to be a little flaky. I entered my site, which everyone says is compressed and got back "GZIP is not enabled :(", but "0.0% could be saved by compressing with GZIP".
