Hi,

We cannot say a lot about this but my advice is the following:
Focus on what can be easily optimized and keep going until you face the final (and hardest) point which is the render block.
Once you're there you will have 80++ score which should be fine if you don't want to fight a lot.

Also there's an alternative, which is installing mod_pagespeed service for your web server and just let it do the magic.
