I have a bunch of images on my page that have no width or height tag as they need to be responsive. Pagespeed will always optimize these with a wrong resolution, instead of using the 300x300 images as included on my page, it will resize them to 53x53 and then "magically" save about 80% in filesize. There is no reference to resolution for these images in my code, neither my markup nor my css - why is pagespeed resizing these images?
